Oh my, an actual journal entry... anyway, I'm trying out Flame4CUDA (a program that renders apophysis FLAME files using the GPU and CUDA instead of the CPU) at the moment (get it off Sourceforge for those of you with GF8+s and Vista/Win7) but I can't seem to get it to work on rendering something that I don't want animated... which sucks considering it can take a 20 hour+ render and do it in about the time it takes for a smoke... on the other hand, rendering animated loops seems to be doing great. *Sigh* if anyone can help me out with the former, I'd really appreciate it, seems like a great program despite that.
